I have like the cheapest point and shoot, but here is what I do. I turn off the flash unless it is nightime. When you Photoshop it, you can use auto photo fix and it will bring it back without the glare. You could always diffuse the flash, if you are getting glare. I am so sophisticated that i use a post it note to cover mine. I have seen other people with pop up flashes disguise other diffusers, google diy photo anything and have a go. I very rarely use auto anymore.
